Hi Jim,
I recently cleaned a tan sofa also and parts of it turned pink, i read your blog about a similar situation so I stopped at the grocery store and but clear ammonia, mixed it 50/50 and sprayed it on with a trigger sprayer. it instantly disappeared! thanks for the blog!

Great and timely reminder. We are up near Aspen, and just had freezing temps set in. I’ve heard some using a space heater or electric mat, but seems expensive and risky. Easier just to shuffle chems and susceptible equipment. Thanks for the blog… excellent content. !!

alot of times in my expierence with paste wax on wood we have had to strip it with a solvent even before it is sanded due to heating of the finish by abrasives or you are going to have alot of money in abrasives and at ton of time. we either use OMS or denatured alcohol.Of course a caution is in order dealing with solvent and flamability.

I've not used the Vaportek on textiles; I'm not certain how it would work on a fabric odor unless it was tented with plastic.

Should I use it in that application and get reasonably good feedback, I'll post it here and contact you directly as well.

I am very interested in incorporating encapuguard into my cleaning process. My question is, when carpet protection will be applied. Should encapuguard be applied before or after carpet protector if at all.
